I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

Thursday, 12 March, 2009 | 17:53 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Ministry of Industry called on investors to build their chocolate factory in Indonesia to build local chocolate industry in line with the country's reputation as one among the biggest cacao producer in the world.

The remark came from Minister Fahmi Idris after several reports on a plan by a Canadian food company, Uniflora, to build a 15 hectares food and chocolate processing facility in Serang, Banten.

According top the ministry's data Indonesia is the second largest cacao producer with a total plantation area of 1,5 million hectares producing around 660 kilograms per hectare, far below the production of Ivory Coast, the largest cacao producer, at 1,5 million tonnes per hectare.
