I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Indonesia and Germany Studying Working Together

Wednesday, 18 March, 2009 | 13:14 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The governments of Indonesia and Germany are studying the possibility of working together in the plantation and agricultural sectors.

Erman Suparno, the Manpower and Transmigration Minister, mentioned that there was a potential market in Germany for wheat plants and wood, so they need a relatively large amount of workers.

“Germany prefers to hire workers with skills from Indonesia although the industry situation there is getting weak,” he said yesterday (17/3).

He went on to say that the both countries have agreed to open internships through entrepreneur associations in both countries.

“Interns will receive payment and accommodation during their internships,” said Erman during a bilateral meeting with Germany's Manpower and Social Affairs Minister, Olaf Scholz, in Postdam, German, yesterday.
