Funding for Adisutjipto Airport to be Disbursed in April

TEMPO Interactive, Yogyakarta: Transportation Minister, Jusman Syafii Djamal, stated on Saturday last week (14/3) that the government will disburse Rp62 billion as the first phase of funding for Adisutjipto Airport, Yogyakarta. this April. 

“This is already confirmed in the 2009 budget implementation,” said Jusman. 

Jusman went on to say that the budget is being disbursed at the request of provincial government when Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X met Vice President Jusuf Kalla in Yogyakarta, last January. 

The funds will be used to revitalize the airport including terminals and facilities.
