Wahanaartha to sell 590 mln shares

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Honda motorcycle distributor PT Wahanaartha Harsaka plans to sell 590 million shares or 29 percent of its fully paid-up capital this year.

"We hope the company will reap a fresh fund of Rp135 billion to Rp140 billion from the share issue," Wahanaartha President Director Robbyanto Budiman said on Wednesday.

Wahanaartha is expected to conduct public exposure on January 14.

The company has appointed PT Nusantara Investindo Sekuritas as its share issue underwriter.

He said the company planned to expand its upstream business, including producing motorcycle spare parts and downstream business, including motorcycle insurance business.

Wahanaartha was expected to post a net profit of Rp15 billion to Rp17 billion from its motorcycle sales of 183,000 units to 183,000 worth Rp2 trillion last year, he said.
