Company to exploit iron ore in South Aceh

Tapaktuan, Aceh (ANTARA News) - Mining company PT Pinang Sejati Wati is planing to exploit iron ore deposits in Panton Bili village, Pasie Raja district, South Aceh.

"We are planning to begin exploitation of the iron ore in Pasie Raja, South Aceh district next April," said PY Pinang Sejati Wati President Director Teuku Asfan here on Tuesday.

The exploitation will be carried out on a 500-hectare area. But the real acreage that has been plotted reached 3,000 hectares, he said.

Regional Government Secretary of South Aceh Harmaini said his region still had many natural resources other than iron ores which had not yet been exploited.
