“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Australian Ambassador inaugurates secondary school in NTT

The Jakarta Post

KUPANG (Antara): Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Bill Farmer on Thursday morning visited the village of Nunkurus, some 20 kilometers west of Kupang, to inaugurate a local secondary school his government financed.

According to Farmer, the school was among 330,000 schools being funded by the Australian government, which has allocated Rp 2.5 trillion (US$278 million) for a program targeting to build new schools in 20 provinces in Indonesia by mid-2009.

"Through this program, Australia is working in partnership with the Indonesian government to help achieve its target of providing a minimum of nine years' basic education for all Indonesian students," Farmer said.

He said Australia has funded the construction of close to 100 schools in East Nusa Tenggara, with 56 of them, including the one in Nunkurus, already completed.

Resident Alfons Neno expressed his gratitude to the Australian government for providing the children of Nunkurus village in Alak subdistrict the school.

Alfons said before the school was built, many students who graduated from primary school were unable to continue their education, as the nearest secondary school was more than 5 kilometers away and there is no public transportation.

After inaugurating the school, Farmer and his entourage visited a number of coastal communities in the province as part of joint efforts to combat the regional problem of illegal fishing.
