Wilmar Energy to produce 1 million tons of biodiesel fuel

JAKARTA, January 09, 2007 (JP) - Wilmar Energy said Tuesday that its biodiesel fuel production would reach 1 million tons by the end of this year.

A senior executive of the firm said that the expected production would come from its factory in Dumai, Riau.

"This will become the world's largest biodiesel fuel production," he said.

Next month, Wilmar's biodiesel fuel production will reach 350,000 tons per year.
