MMC Unit Wins US$48.2 Mln Indon Project


KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- MMC Corporation Bhd's subsidiary, MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd, has won a US$48.2 million contract from PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia.

In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, MMC said the contract was to undertake phase one of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the Jabung gas booster compressor station project in Indonesia.

"MMC Oil and Gas Engineering is the leader of the consortium, comprising PECD Construction Sdn Bhd and PT Elnusa Petro Teknik, which won the deal.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the MMC Group," it said.
