“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Sat Nusapersada electronics parts builds 10th factory, worth Rp 20b

The Jakarta Post, Jakarta

Publicly listed Batam-based electronics component maker PT Sat Nusapersada is building its tenth factory, expected to begin operating in May.

The three-story and 3,780-square-meter facility is expected to cost Rp 20 billion (US$2.16 million).

President director Abidin called the new factory a "one-stop four-in-one service" complete with surface mount technology (SMT), metal sampling, plastic molding and complete set assembly, making the company the only in the country to offer such a system under one roof.

"With this integration we can increase cost efficiency, produce high-quality products, sell them at competitive prices and deliver them on time," he said.

Corporate secretary Rusdiana said in a media statement, "We expect the new factory to increase sales up to 7 percent this year".

In the first semester of last year, the company earned Rp 730.58 billion in net revenue and Rp 16.59 billion in net profit. Its total assets was worth Rp. 671.58 billion, including Rp 244.65 billion in equity, as of June 30 last year.

Rusdiana said Sat Nusapersada had also purchased new machinery at a cost of Rp 272 billion, and that in the near future it would expand its marketing network by opening up branch offices in Singapore and Japan.

Sat Nusapersada was established in 1990 with 220 workers, and today employs more than 4,000. It produces a wide range of electronic components, including computer network products, internet equipment, telecommunications equipment and automotive electronic components.

It supplies dozens of international manufacturers, including Sony, Panasonic, Phillips and Kenwood.

Sat Nusapersada sold its shares in an initial public offering (IPO) last November, resulting in 66.47 percent of the company being owned by Abidin, 30 percent by the investing public and 3.53 percent by Bidin Yusuf, one of its directors. (lva)
