The Chinese government is offering hundreds of scholarships to Indonesian students looking to engage in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies in China beginning in September 2011.
“The Chinese government has prepared several scholarships for several programs through the China Scholarship Council, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education as well as reputable universities in the country,” Chaerun Anwar, Education Attache at the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, said Tuesday.
He added that the Indonesian Embassy was planning to provide hundreds of scholarships in 2012 for graduate and doctoral studies.
“The amount and period is still unknown. But, we will put it into action for sure because this is a form of cooperation we have with China in the field of education,” he said as reported by kompas.com.
