India Invests in Parigi Muotong Power Plant

TEMPO Interactive, Parigi: Indian investors will expend Rp 120 billion for the construction of an agricultural waste-generated power plant in Parigi Moutong regency, Central Sulawesi. The power plant will have a capacity of producing 10 megawatt electrical power.

A meeting was held on this subject between Parigi Moutong Longki Djanggola and members of the India-Indonesia Friendship Association secretary-general, Dr Gurumukti Nataraja last week.

Rustam Pantalu as the facilitator of the meeting said the Parigi Moutong regency government will get 12 percent of shares from the power plant construction.

Meanwhile, the investors will get 80 percent of the shares. The rest will be given to the local companies. Rustam also said the assets owned by the Parigi Moutong regency government are in the form of lands and streets.
