PLN to issue another bonds

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State power utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) plans to issue another bonds following favorable market responses to its bonds issued earlier.

The value of the bonds would be adjusted to the existing needs, PLN Finance Director Setio Anggoro Dewo said here on Friday.

"We see the market responses are still quite good," he said.

He said the good market responses were reflected by proceeds from the issuance of the last bonds which rose 46.67 percent to Rp2.2 trillion from Rp1.5 trillion previously.

PT Jamsostek, state-owned workers' social insurance firm, was among the biggest buyers of PLN bonds, he said.

The Rp2.2 trillion bonds consisted of conventional bonds worth Rp1.7 trillion and sharia bonds worth Rp500 billion, he said.
