World Bank and Japan to Help Strengthen Indonesia’s National Statistics System

Indonesia’s National Statistics Agency (BPS) will implement a program to strengthen its systems, through a series of capacity building activities funded by the Japanese Government and administered by the World Bank. 

These activities are part of a five-year project entitled Indonesia CERDAS (Change and Reform for the Development of Statistics in Indonesia), to which the Japanese Government has contributed today by way of a US$ 1 million grant under the Policy and Human Resources Development Technical Assistance Program.
