“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Indonesia to host 2010 FAEA Meeting

Antara News, Monday, December 21, 2009 14:19 WIB

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia will host the 2010 ASEAN Economists Association Federation in 2010, General Secretary of the Indonesian Economic Scholars Association (ISEI PP) Anggito Abimanyu, said here Monday.

Abimanyu said that the 2010 FAEA meeting will discuss the global economy in the 2010 Indonesian Economy Outlook seminar.

The previous 2009 FAEA meeting was held in Cambodia, with ISEI participating, he added.

Besides to host the FAEA meeting, ISEI will also hold a plenum in Bandung, West Java, to discuss small and medium enterprises that has been playing an increasing role in the economy, he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Asia Pacific Studies Center from the Gajahmada University, Sri Adiningsih said that the macro economic stability would be well maintained but needs to beware of fragility in the 2010 economic prospect.

"Economic stability is still fragile due to the potential risks that arise in the number of short-term funds in the Indonesian economy," Adiningsih said.

The short-term funds might leave Indonesia anytime, which will cause a great impact on the Indonesian economy.

Adiningsih said that the economy, industry and investment growth will rise, but sluggishly.

"The informal sector will develop, therefore ISEI will discuss the matter in Bandung," said Adiningsih who is also the Chairperson of the Fiscal Coordination Focus Group and ISSEI Monetary ISEI central committee.
