“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Target of Energy Lamp Sales to be 180 Million Units

Friday, 20 February, 2009 | 15:12 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Indonesian Lamp Association has targeted this year’s sale of energy-efficient lamps to be 180 million units. Half of them are produced by local producers while the rest are imported.

“The state-owned electricity company PLN has 36 million family subscribers. If each family uses five lamps, that would make 180 million,” said Indonesian Lamp Association chairman John Mannopo in Jakarta yesterday.

John explained that local products last year only topped 20 percent. Nevertheless, it is expected to grow this year. John is optimistic that local producers can supply 50 percent provided that Ministerial Decree no. 56 on Import Restriction on Certain Products is carried out properly.

He thinks the regulation had a positive impact on the local industry. The impact could be felt since the end of last year. According to him, the average number of lamps that entered last year reached 8.5 million units. However, in December 2008, the number dropped to 2.5 million units.
