Palyja warns of water shortages

JAKARTA (Jakarta Post) : City water operator Palyja has warned its customers to anticipate water shortages until Jan. 9 while it completes technical maintenance.

Palyja's public relations manager Meyritha Maryanie said the work was being carried out in an effort to improve the company's services.

"In relation to the maintenance work, water supplies in several areas will be affected. These areas include Jatibaru, Musi, Petojo, Tanjung Selor and several surrounding areas. To anticipate possible water shortages, we advise costumers to fill water tanks and use water wisely," Meyritha said.
