Kemang Village to soon build office tower

The Jakarta Post, Jakarta | Thu, 04/07/2011

Kemang Village management will soon build an office tower in the area to meet the office demand in South Jakarta.

Kemang Village director Jopy Rusli said Thursday in Jakarta demands for offices in South Jakarta were growing because many companies wanted to avoid the three-person-per-vehicle rule in Jakarta's “golden triangle” business district, which includes Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jl. Sudirman and Jl. MH Thamrin.

“The area around the Kemang Village office building will not impose the vehicle rule and will be close to employees' residences,” Jopy said as quoted by kompas.com. “Kemang Village's added value will also increase because the construction of the Pangeran Antasari flyover is projected to complete in 2012.”

He added KV Mall, a shopping center project worth US$1.2 billion and built on 15.5 hectares of land, was also scheduled for opening in 2012.
