House to open bid for new office building next week

The House of Representatives will start next week the bidding process for the construction project of its new office building in Senayan, Central Jakarta.

A technical team comprising management and building-planning consultants are currently completing requirements for the bidding process to be submitted to the House secretariat general, House home affairs bureau deputy head Refrizal said Monday.

“As soon as the secretary-general receives [the required documents], the team will be instructed to open the bid,” he added as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Refrizal said among the requirements was a proposal for the standard minimum price, although he refused to disclose the amount.

He added the bid result would be announced mid May.

“Then in late May or early June we will hold the opening ceremony.”
