M`sian bizman to build 300 condos in Maluku

Ambon, Maluku (ANTARA News) - Malaysian businessman Datuk Wong Hee Toh is to build 300 condominiums in the Kudamati area for foreigners who want to do business in Ambon.

"What has prompted the Malaysian businessman is Maluku`s tourism potential. Tourism is a self-reliant people`s economic source," he said.

Khadijah Iskandar, director of Damuli Sarana Sdn. Bhd. of Malaysia said Wong Hee Teh had visited Ambon in early January and surveyed the area to be developed as a "business center".

He said 300 condominiums to be built on lands owned by individuals would be put on sale at the price of Rp300 million - Rp one billion per unit.

The sceneries of Ambon Bay and Ambon`s city center that can be enjoyed were an added value of the project.
