TEMPO Interactive, Bandung: Bandung based aircraft manufacturer, Dirgantara Indonesia, will produce components for Airbus 350 wings.
“The contract is valid for 5-10 years. I hope that it will be extended,” said Rakhendi Priyatna, Dirgantara Indonesia spokesperson, when contacted by Tempo.
Previously, Dirgantara made components for Airbus 380, 320, 330, 340, and Airbus 400 for the military.
The components are ordered through British Aerospace System with a contract valid since 2004.
This year, PT Dirgantara revenue amounted to Rp1.5 trillion.
In 2009, Dirgantara succeed in getting a contract of Rp1.1 trillion.
