Nestle opens new US$15.5 mln ice cream factory in Philippines

Manila (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Nestle Philippines Inc. recently inaugurated its new ice cream and chilled dairy factory in Pulilan, Bulacan in a major initiative to beef up its production capabilities to serve local market demand with world-class quality products appealing to Filipino taste preferences.

The new facility entailed investments of P700 million (US$15.5 million), including allocations for state-of-the art production equipment and processes.

The factory is situated in a 4.5 hectare land area in Pulilan\'s Barangay Tibag. It was completed in a record 14 months.
