Jakarta (ANTARA News) - PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), a subsidiary of state oil and gas firm Pertamina, said Monday it had secured US$47.9 million contracts early this year for the provision of geoscience services.
The contracts included the provision of 3D land seismic geoscience services worth US$2.8 million in East Kalimantan`s Tarakan area, Elnusa Corporate Secretary Heru Samodra said in a press statement.
Currently, Elnusa is carrying out a 3D seismic project worth US$5.4 million in Jambi province. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
Heru said the company secured the new contracts partly because it focused on its core business as a provider of land seismic geoscience services.
Elnusa has projected its operating income this year to grow Rp4.46 trillion with its core business in the upstream oil and gas services sector expected to generate Rp2.79 trillion including Rp1.44 trillion from its geoscience business unit.
