Tanjungpinang, Indonesia (ANTARA News/Asa Pulse) - Russian investors were ready to develop a tourist resort in Bintan, Riau Islands Province, Mardhiah, head of the integrated Bintan district licensing and investment promotion body, said here Wednesday.
"Russian investors` willingness to invest in this province has been expressed in a meeting with Mr. Oleg Gurbulen, a Russian representative, last Tuesday (Dec. 15)," Mardhiah said here on Wednesday.
Russian investors plan to build a tourist resort at a 55-hectare coastal area at Berakit village, Bintan District. The construction work is expected to start late December 2009 or early January 2010.
