“The program will be for the local community,” said Total's coordinator for Social and Economy Development, Pandu Wahono, Friday (20/3).

He explained that the community of Kutai Kartanegara is prioritized, as gas and oil exploitation is located in this place. He said there were five sub-districts receiving the program: Semboja, Anggana, Muara Jawa, Muara Badak, and Sanga Sanga.

He said that the program will include physical development for health and education services, economic, environmental, and cultural activity.

“It will be for infrastructure development first and then economic empowerment for the community,” he said.
