TEMPO Interactive, Makassar: Singapore plans to open direct flight services to South Sulawesi. Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister George Yoe conveyed his intention to collaborate in the tourism and culture sectors with the province since both regions are linked through a common Bugis culture.
Additionally, Singapore intends to cooperate in the economic and health sectors. Last Tuesday, Yoe had a meeting with South Sulawesi governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Syahrul said the proposal must first be studied.
