Mataram students leave for New Zealand

Eighteen high school students of Mataram City in West Nusa Tenggara, leaft for in New Zealand on Saturday morning and will stay there for a month as a part of an exchange program.

Mataram mayor M. Ruslan told Antara news agency that the students are expected to spend their time learning everything they can use to make advancement back home.

“New Zealand is well known for its agriculture and farming. You should be able to learn from them,” he told the students during a farewell ceremony.

The students are accompanied by four headmasters of their respective schools. (dre)
