President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono chaired a working meeting with several ministers at the head office of state electricity company PT PLN here on Monday to discuss national program in securing electricity supply, Antara news agency reported.
Present at the meeting were Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Industry Ministr Fahmi Idris, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, State Secretary Hatta Radjasa, and Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi.
PT PLN was represented at he meeting by its president director, Fahmi Mochtar, and members of the company's boards of directors and commissioners.
The meeting was to discuss PT PLN"s role with respect to the adequate supply of electric power, and the first and second phases of a program to build power plants with a combined capacity of 10,000 MW.
