Honda to spend US$16.5 mln to open new dealerships in Indonesia

Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), the assembler of Honda cars in Indonesia, will open 35 new dealerships to handle sales, provide service and spare parts in the country. 

The company will spend Rp182 billion (US$16.5 million) to open the new dealerships in Java and Bali. 

HPM already has 86 and the additional dealers are expected to help increase its market share in the country, its marketing and after sales director Jonfis Fandy said.
