Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Motorcycle maker PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing will invest US$88 million in Indonesia this year to increase its motorcycle production capacity.
Its subsidiary PT Yamaha Motor Manufacturing West Java will use the funds to double the capacity of its factory in Karawang from 800,000 units to 1.6 million units and to build Yamaha global training center in the country.
The capacity expansion will bring Yamaha production capacity to 3.2 million units in the country.
