Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Indonesia's PT Arrtu Mega Energi said it will build a US$1.9 billion liquid coal (di-methyl ether) project in Riau in cooperation with state-owned coal mining company PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (JSX:PTBA).
Arrtu said it has also asked state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina to join in the venture.
Arrtu president Christoforus Richard said 70 per cent of the project funding will be provided by a consortium of foreign and local banks.
