Top RI scientists to increase expertise on climate change

Nusa Dua (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s top environmentalist association and the Indonesian Environmental Intellectuals (Perwaku) expressed their intention to step up their expertise on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and climate change and carbon credit issues in the country.

A press release made available to ANTARA News here on Saturday said during the signing of an MoU between Perwaku and Sindicatum Carbon Capital Asia Ltd (SCC) that SCC (special developer of projects relating to climate change) agreed to share knowledge and their expertise to Perwaku which was made up of scientists, intellectuals and Indonesian environmental academicians.

Perwaku also agreed that SCC Asia will involve scientists, its advisors and its executive personnel in efforts to participate in carrying out projects in Indonesia.
