Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Emaar International Properties LLC from Dubai pledged to draw more Middle-east tourists to Indonesia after it completes a tourist resort project in Bali's neighboring island of Lombok.

The project, expected to cost around US$600 million, will be built over a 12-hectare plot of land on the Mandalika beach of Central Lombok, and is to be completed in 2009.

Emaar hopes to attract around 1 million tourists from the Middle East every year said Diyak Mulahela, the director of the Tourism Information Development Agency.
