JAKARTA, March 7, 2007 (Bloomberg) - Renault SA, France's second-biggest car-maker, is in talks with the government to set up a plant here, an official says.
"We are in intensive talks with Renault," M. Lutfi, head of the Investment Coordinating Board told reporters in Jakarta on Tuesday. "We will hold serious discussions with Renault at the end of this month."
Renault may set up a plant with a capacity to produce 35,000 sedans' and utility vehicles per year, Lutfi said.
